Construction Timeline
I spoke to someone in Belltell today and they said that as of right now, things are on schedule. They are going to have a better idea of time once they have they Temporary Certificate of Occupancy. They said they would contact all future owners once that's in place. They also said they would let us know 45-60 days prior to the closing date. That's all I have for now.

I wonder how long it will be before the roof deck is completed.
More inside info.
I heard that about 90% of the Kitchens are installed in the first phase of construction.
anything new to report??
90% of the kitchens are installed in the first phase.
I spoke to someone at the building today and things are on or ahead of schedule. Closings as early as May 2007.
Has anyone taken a walk through of their apartment yet? Curious to see how things are looking. Also, interested to see if anyone has actually measured out their line. The way I understand it is that the square footage will be smaller than advertised (because sq footage is based on the total imprint of the apt measure from the exterior walls), but that the room measurements shown on the floorplan should be accurate, give or take a small variance. Can anyone confirm this?
RE: Square footage
That sounds about right M, although, I sure the difference will be marginal at best. Nothing to sweat. I do plan on trying to get up to see my apt maybe this Sunday during the open house, if they let me. I'll be sure to bring a tape measure.
Guyfromdobro,
did you get a chance to get over there last weekend. Was wondering how things are looking and if you had any update.
M
I did get a chance last weekend. I saw my apartment and the only things that are done are the walls are up, plastered and painted. They had some of the lighting attached and the sprinklers were done. No cabinets, no bathroom, no floors and no doors.Although, I forgot to bring my tape measure, so I don't have anything to add regarding actual dimentions. Anyway, it was pretty cool that they let me see it in that condition.
hmmm, that's interesting. Thought they were putting down floors a couple of weeks ago. Wonder if things are still on schedule
I spoke to someone there and they assured me that they were on or ahead of schedule, so I don't think there is anything to worry about. As far as wood floors being in, maybe all the other floors have them installed and mine doesn't. What can I tell you.
The floor, kitchen cabinets and part of the bathrooms were in when I checked my apartment two weekends ago, so they may not be working on the apartments systematically.

For all I know, my floors are in by now. I'm not sure how they decide what gets done when.
I heard this weekend that sales are picking up in the new year and that they have a lot of new contracts out. The open house was very busy, much busier than when I went to see the place I ultimately bought.
I passed by the weekend before to look at my apartment and I felt the same way. The place was packed. If they let me hang out at the open houses, I'm sure I could sell a couple. Of course I would require a nominal fee.
Was following the discussion on measurements, looked at about half dozen or so apartments under construction and brought a tape measure. The room dimensions on the floor plans were within a couple of inches either way of the actual measurements.
Thanks Chelsea
I figured that the dimensions would be close enough. Thanks for doing the foot work for us.
Last I heard, which was a few weeks ago, the units were on schedule and an April 1 temporary certificate of occupancy was still the plan. The holdup sounded like it could be the completion of some of the necessary common areas, for example the lobby. Does anyone have another more recent timing update from the agents?
M
Last I heard it was the same. I'm going to try to get in touch with someone for a more current update. It's so close I can taste it.
As per an agent,as of today, everything is still on target for a TCO in April.
