how are they going to have everyone close on monday
Not everyone is closing on Monday. People scheduled for the 27th have rescheduled based on the best dates for them. For example, while my letter scheduled me for the 27th, I'm actually going to close on Sept 5, in part because my attorney is on vacation next week. I know of others who are waiting until later in the week for other reasons. So there will be closings throughout the next couple of weeks in the first phase.
