Real World at Belltel Lofts. Confirmed

The NY Daily News has confirmed, through an interview with the sponsor David Bistricer, that the Real World will in fact be filming at the Belltel Lofts in Downtown Brooklyn. They will be occuping the 6000 sq ft penthouse. I couldn't be happier.

Bring on the Glass

United American Land seems to be moving forward. Within the last month, they have acquired the air rights to the property borderd by Willoughby, Bridge, Duffield and the Fulton Mall. This is directly accros the street from Belltel. The only building that will remain is 505 Fulton due to its landmark status (that's the Conway). There are some interesting renderings on their website. No arguements here. I'm lovin the glass.

Bam Developments: Revisited

All I can say is I love it. I think the building will fit in perfectly to the new and improved Downtown Brooklyn. This may be the only place in Brooklyn that it makes sense to build something like this. What do you think? Is this good for Downtown?

Garage on the Corner of Willoughby and Flatbush Ave is coming down. Look at what's going up.

The 650 unit residential building should be up in no time. There is also a class A office space component to this.
388 Bridge Street. 360 Residential units.

It's more condos if you can believe it. All I can tell you is that this thing is huge in the rendering (see link below). I like the way it looks. Any thoughts?

9 Billion Dollars, give or take

"Beginning early next year, the complete overhaul of Flatbush Avenue from Tillary Street to Atlantic Avenue, costing about $15 million, will begin. It is expected to take about a year to complete." (BDE)
