The commercial floors

What type of businesses would you like to see at Belltel?

Williams and Sonoma would be nice.

Are those floors going to be for professional space (e.g. law offices etc.) or are they going to be for retail (e.g. William Sonoma)? I'm certainly holding out hope for a supermarket in the cellar space, but not sure we're going to be getting retail stores on floors 2 and 3. But I agree, a William Sonoma would be nice; can throw Pottery Barn or Restoration Hardware in there as well given they're the same company.

My understanding is that the first floor will be some sort of supermarket. Hopefully high end. I'm not opposed to Williams & Sonoma, Restoration Hardware or Pottery Barn on the second and third floors. Quite frankly, any high end furniture or lighting stores. This way I don't have to go too far to furnish my new apt.

Let's not rule out art galleries. I'd love that.

I'm highly doubtful that Whole Foods will come here. They are already opening in Gowanus soon enough. I think Trader Joe's would have a better chance here considering they haven't made it to Brooklyn yet. Also, I think they have a better price point.

I'd love a Starbucks, McDonalds, Gap or Dunkin Donuts. I love coffee in the morning. A Bank or a CVS would also be handy, and maybe a Wendys or Burger King so I don't have to eat McDonalds all the time, that would be too boring.

An Old Navy would be cool too? What do you guys think?

I'll agree on Starbucks,Dunkin Donuts,a bank or CVS. I don't want too see a fast food joint under any circumstances. There are enough of them on Fulton already and quite frankly, I don't think it represents the aesthetic we are shooting for in this building. For the same reason, I'd be disappointed in an Old Navy. I wouldn't mind a high end furniture store though.
