Hooray!!! Maybe if we don't get the grocery store we all want at BelTell, they will put in the ground floor of the Albee square project. This development can only be good news for all of us buyers. Curious if this will catalyze development of the Willoughby square park, which is supposed to be between the Albee Square property and the new hotel on Duffield. I don't really know the situation with the park and who owns the buildings that currently sit on the land where the park is supposed to be. Does anyone out there have more info?

I'm thrilled as well. I've waiting on that news. As far as Willoughby square park is concerned, every bit of infomation I dig up is really dated. We will have to stay on the pulse of the neighboorhood for the time being. I'll be sure to scour the internet for anything related to Willoughby square park or Downtown Brooklyn in general. If you have something that you want me to post, feel free to e mail me streetshooter1@gmail.com

Hi,
As far as I know the area belongs to the Metro Tech Business Improvement District (BID). They have a website with contact info and so on.

Mike Weiss I believe is the Executive Director and the person to contact for info.
